Douglas and Ramsey games postponed

There was no rugby action for Douglas or Ramsey as both of their games were called off.

Douglas’ trip to Moore in South Lancashire/Cheshire Division Two was postponed after Moore’s pitch and their standby pitch at Southport were both frozen.

Ramsey were due to host Prenton at Mooragh Park in Division Three but Prenton refused to travel, believing the pitch would be unplayable.

The fact Vagas and Winnington Park actually played on it could come back to haunt Prenton as and when the league organisers review the postponement.
