Good turnout expected for rounds five and six of ARA season

Following the Southern 100 Road Races earlier this week, motorsport action heads north this weekend for a double-header of Andreas Racing Association (ARA) championship competition.

Rounds five and six of the 2025 ARA campaign will be held at Jurby Racing Circuit on Saturday, 12 July and Sunday, 13 July.

A bumper field is expected for both the solo and sidecar classes on what is the association's only two-part weekend of the season.

Lee Bartram of the ARA says the busy schedule along with the forecast good weather should make for an entertaining weekend on track for competitors and spectators:

In total there are 12 different championship classes throughout the ARA season featuring both solo and sidecar machinery.

Among those is the coveted Solo Centre Championship which is currently being led by Jamie Cringle on 114 points with Rory Parker following close behind on 108.

Meanwhile, local TT and Southern 100 champions Ryan and Callum Crowe currently lead the way in both the driver and passenger standings respectively in the Sidecar standings.

Each day, machines are expected to be out on course from around 9.30am each morning.

Entry for either day will be £6 for adults whilst Under-16's go free.
