Dominant trio shine at the Ayres

Neil Parsons takes title

The three Island shooters who have dominated the Ayre Clay Target Club’s annual all-round competition since the turn of the millennium continued their superb record on Sunday.

Neil Parsons, Marty Kneen and Kevin Oates have won the rose bowl between them every year since 2001 and it was no different this time around.

Neil Parsons was the winner in perfect conditions at Blue Point from Kneen in second and Oates in third place.

Corina Clague took the ladies’ trophy from Madeline Simpson.

It’s the first shoot of the winter leagues this Sunday (November 5) with 50 English Skeet. Entries close at 10.15am.
