Darts: Callum Brew crowned world paradarts champion

Island player wins 'standing' competition in Budapest

Manx paradarts player, Callum Brew has been crowned champion at the 2025 World Paradarts World Championships.

The Island competitor has taken top spot in the 'standing' competition after a 5-3 victory over Stefan Bakker in Budapest, Hungary this afternoon (30 October).

This success comes just two days after Brew also won the 'standing' tournament at the 2025 Hungarian Paradarts Masters in the same city.

Meanwhile, fellow Isle of Man paradarts player, Darren Kennish has finished as runner-up in the 'wheelchair' competition of the world championships as he reached the final before a 5-2 loss to Vincent D'Hondt.

Kennish came into the tournament as the number one seed in that event.

Both Brew and Kennish were also involved in the 2025 World Paradarts Masters at the same venue yesterday (29 October)

Brew reached the knockout stage before being defeated in the first round whilst Kennish was unable to make it out of the group phase.
