D&D stun Union Mills

Douglas and District caused one of the shocks of the season to stun high-flying Union Mills on Saturday.

They won 3-1 at promotion chasers Union Mills, courtesy of goals from Daniel Craig-Stewart, Andy Goodrell and Nabu Shelton.

Steven Quine scored for the Millers but D&D sealed a memorable victory to potentially damage the home side’s promotion bid from JCK Division Two.

Ramsey Youth Centre kept alive their push with a 6-3 victory at Malew.

Malew led 2-1 at the break but Youth Centre hit back with a hat-trick from Connell Hughes and one apiece from Steven Jordan, Daniel Tate and Mark Faragher.

Two from Craig Cowin and one from Jamie Stoy fired the Police to a 3-2 win at Colby to damage the southerners’ Paul Henry Gold Cup hopes.

Their marksmen were Chris McKenna and Juan Kinvig.

A hat-trick from Richard Mulhearn and one from Sean Doyle helped Marown to an exciting 4-3 victory over Pulrose at Crosby.

Paul Fick (two) and Joe Rees netted for Pulrose.
