Cyclists take double gold

Overall victory in final

Manx cyclists scored a double gold at the Gotland Island Games earlier.

Nick Corlett came first place in the Mountain Bike Criterium final.

Teammates Elliot Baxter and Daniel Curtis were just behind, finishing fourth and fifth respectively.

That result was enough for the men's team - also featuring Lee Gale and Alex Rockwell - to earn an overall gold.

The victory temporarily propelled the Isle of Man back into first place on the medals table, ahead of nearest rivals the Faroe Islands.
