Jurby event was postponed on New Year's Eve
The latest edition of a popular cycling road race on Island has been rescheduled for later this month.
The Hamper Race had been due to take place on New Year's Eve (31 December, 2023) but was called off due to poor weather conditions.
However its organisers the Manx Viking Wheelers Club have now announced they plan to hold the handicapped 40km race on Sunday, 28 January.
All entries for the previous date have been carried over and new entries are now being accepted.
Sign-on for the race will take place at Jurby Parish Hall at 9am on the day with the first riders setting off at 10am.
In previous years, the event has attracted some of the top Manx competitors in the sport including Mark Cavendish and Peter Kennaugh.
