Eight-stage race begins in Rotterdam today
The 2024 Tour de France Femmes begins today (12 August) and two Manx athletes are taking part.
Riders Lizzie Holden of UAE Team ADQ and Beckie Storrie of team dsm-firmenich PostNL are in the Netherlands to start the eight-stage event, which will run until next Sunday (18 August)
This will be Holden's third time competing at the event as the 26-year-old has taken part in every Tour de France Femmes since its inception in 2022.
Meanwhile, Storrie will be making her debut at the competition which starts in Rotterdam.
The riders will then cycle the 123km route in South Holland to finish Stage 1 in The Hague.
