Team still strong without Manx Missile

The Island’s cycling coach at next month’s Commonwealth Games says they will naturally miss Mark Cavendish but have plenty of other talent to draw upon.

The ‘Manx Missile’ pulled out from the Manx squad last week, five days after breaking a rib and suffering an ankle injury in a crash.

Coach Andrew Roche says while an undoubted blow, there is a strong local team.
