Two medals for Manxman today in Shanghai

Isle of Man cyclist, Matthew Bostock has claimed gold at the 2026 UCI Track World Championships in China today (15 October).

The Manxman took top spot in the Men's Scratch Race in Shanghai this afternoon ahead of Thomas Sexton of New Zealand in second and Lyndsay de Vylder of Belgium in third.

It's Bostock's second medal of the day in Great Britain colours after he was part of the GB Men's Team Pursuit lineup which claimed bronze this morning.

The championships are running until this Sunday (18 October).

It's already been a strong season on the track for Bostock so far - along with securing multiple British national titles during the current campaign, he also took the gold medal representing the Isle of Man in the Men's 40km Points Race at the 2026 Commonweath Games in Glasgow in August.
