The Douglas player overcame Ramsey’s Davy Jones at the 20th hole in last night’s quarter-final after the players were all square after 18.

Michael Curphey will meet Paul Lowey in this evening’s semi-final after the Rowany player defeated Chris Kneen of Castletown 5&4.
The other semi will be between Daryl Callister and Andrew Challenor after they recorded victories over Tom Harris and Gary Corlett respectively.
