Cringle named October Player of the Month

Manx rugby player Phil Cringle has scooped October's Player of the Month Award for his club.

The London Scottish prop put in some impressive performances in what was a tough month for the second tier rugby union side.

They lost to Bristol, Yorkshire Carnegie and Hartpury - but did register a seven-point victory over Dragons.

London Scottish are second from bottom in the table.
