Two players to make national team debuts next week
The Isle of Man women's national cricket squad has been announced for its latest international tournament being held next week.
A total of 14 players will represent the Island at a quadrangular series being held at the Happy Valley Ground in Episkopi, Cyprus from 18-20 April.
The Isle of Man will face hosts Cyprus as well as Jersey and Denmark in six games across the three days.
In the squad itself will also be two national team debuts with IoM Cricket confirming Georgie Ford and Lola Hornby-Wheeler will join the team for the first time.
This tournament will form part of the squad's preparations for its first ever appearance in the ICC Women's World Cup qualifiers from 25-29 May in the Europe Qualifier Division 2 in Rome, Italy.
Since its inception, the Isle of Man women's national side has already secured a number of international honours - the most recent of those was winning the Valletta Cup in Malta in August 2024.
