Cowley Shoots For the Stars

Juan retains Manx Skeet title

The 2017 Manx Skeet Championship has been retained by Juan Cowley.

Reigning champion Cowley was one of 15 competitors who took part in wet, windy and dull conditions at Meary Veg.

Second place went to Dave Corlett who was narrowly beaten 22 points to 18 by Cowley in a final round shoot off.

John Moore led after the first round, but finished up in joint-third place with Alan Wade on 41.

The event was sponsored by John Moore.

Class A: 1, D. Corlett 42 + 18; 2 (joint), J. Moore and A. Wade 41.
