Maria Costello is to be the first woman to be made President of the TT Riders Association.
The Northamptonshire racer will be handed the chain of office at the TTRA's annual luncheon in Birmingham early next month.
Costello will be the first female president of the association in its 67-year-old history.
She follows in the footsteps of more than 40 world champions and racers with more than 145 TT wins between them.
