Talented youngsters show their potential
Ben Corkill and Eleanor Miklos won the Aston International Winter Hill Leagues with a bit to spare.
It follows the third and final round at Eary Beg plantation in Glen Helen on Saturday where Corkill again won and comfortably took outright victory by nearly five minutes on cumulative time.
Some new faces made very promising debuts, none more so than Western AC's Orran Smith who just edged out veteran Ian Gale over the series to take second place.
Eleanor Miklos was the leading lady from year nine talent Kate Cashin (who was the quickest lady in round three) and Sarah Curphey in third.
There were also commendable showings from a number of young talents, including Kate Cashin, James Strickett and Joshua O'Neill.
