Corinthians up to fourth

Corinthians moved up to fourth and kept in touch with the teams above them with victory in the only game in the Sure Mobile Women's League yesterday.

They beat Laxey 9-1 at Noble's Park thanks to four goals from Jade Burden, a Sarah O'Reilly hat-trick and a brace from Sarah Kerford.

They're now on 16 points, just two points behind third-placed Peel and six behind second-placed Rushen with two games in hand.

Douglas Royal are clear at the top having won all eight of their matches so far.
