Corinthians and Peel qualify for semi-finals

Holders Corinthians and Peel both qualified for the semi-finals of the Warehouse Fitness Floodlit Cup on Sunday.

Corinthians finished in pole position in Group B after defeating Colby 4-0.

Leading 3-0 at half-time, Anna Dillon (two), Kiera Morgan and Jade Burden netted for the Whites.

Peel, despite losing their two previous group matches, secured their place in the final four on goal difference after defeating DHSOB 4-2.

Jasmyn Crowe, Maxine Smalley, Ellan Cleator and Katie Meads were on target for the westerners.

Rachael Christian scored a brace for the Blackberry Lane side.
