Great win for Preston rider in Lightweight
After a desperately close first lap, it was Andrew Farrell from the Skerries who initially took a slim advantage over Darren Cooper in the MGP Supporters Club Lightweight Race.
He stretched his lead to five seconds into the second lap with Barry Lee Evans a similar distance behind in third.
In the half-way pits, after the dust had settled, it was Cooper who held the advantage over Farrell by six seconds.
And that was the order it stayed with Cooper, from Preston in Lancashire, stretching his lead over Farrell with a flying last lap.
So at the flag, Darren Cooper by 28 seconds over Andrew Farrell with Barry Lee Evans third.
