Natwest Island Games competitors already in Rhodes are finding it difficult to acclimatise.
Yesterday (Wednesday), temperatures hit about 45 degrees celsius on the Greek Island, which is hosting the event this year.
Competitors who need to get used to the heat flew out on Tuesday, and a further party will leave the Island tomorrow.
Cycling Team Manager, Gary Hinds, says it's been quite a struggle:
Triathlon: Trials to be held for 2027 Island Games squad
Shooting: Bellhouse impresses during wintry league round
Football: Union Mills seeking more players for women's team
Golf: 'Amazing' to earn full Ladies European Tour card, says Dawson
