Colby surprise Peel

Colby made it two wins out of two in the Warehouse Fitness League on Sunday.

A 3-0 success against Peel at Douglas Road secured maximum points with the goals coming from Ali Gill, Becky Corkish and Sarah Wignall.

With reigning champions Corinthians having their free week, leaders Douglas Royal took the chance to break away from the title chasing pack and register a 4-1 win over Castletown at Ballafletcher.

Donna Shimmin (three) and Leanne Quayle found the target for the Whites. Town replied with a Helen Cooper effort.
