Prompted by incident on Saturday
Football clubs around the Island with defibrillators are being asked to check the machine's batteries and pads are in date.
It comes after Saturday's Canada Life Combination One match between Braddan and Douglas Royal was abandoned after 68 minutes.
No defibrillator was needed in the incident at Braddan and the club had replaced the batteries and pads at the start of the season.
Other clubs with the devices are being urged to make sure everything is in date just in case they are required.
