Team says having 33-time TT winner on board 'an honour'
Michael Dunlop MBE will contest the Formula One race at this year's Classic TT with WizNorton Racing.
The team has confirmed the 33-time TT winner will compete in the race on board the squad's WRS 588cc Norton Rotary machine.
Announcing the update, WizNorton Racing is describing it as 'an honour' to have Dunlop on board for its 2025 campaign.
Michael will also be following in the footsteps of his father, Robert Dunlop, who previously piloted a Norton Rotary to podiums in both the 1990 Formula 1 TT and 1992 Senior TT.
Elsewhere, the team admits it's 'a shame' they can only field one rider competitively at this year's event but is 'looking forward to contributing to what should be a memorable return for the Classic TT.'
