Christian takes British U-23 time trial title

Anna Christian is the under-23 British National Time Trial champion!

The young Manx cyclist came home seventh overall in this morning's women's time trial, but finished top in her age category

The event was won by Claire Rose.

The course runs up the west coast to Kirk Michael and returns along the TT course to Ballacraine.

The men's contest over two circuits of the course at 6.30pm is over two circuits.

Island fans will have to wait until Sunday to see Mark Cavendish and Peter Kennaugh compete in the road race.
