The champions in men’s and women’s hockey are going great guns.

In the PWC Men’s Premier League on Saturday, Bacchas A put 10 past Ramsey without reply.

Hat-tricks from Andy Whiting and Jonny Callow, a double from Jamie Brown and strikes from James Harrison and Tom Wilson secured a romp.

Title rivals Vikings A also hit 10 in a 10-1 demolition of Castletown.

Ali Birch and Steven Crowe were hat-trick heroes.

Macklin Wilson (two), Will Blake and Tim Henderson joined them on the scoresheet.

A second successive defeat for Valkyrs A has all but ended their title challenge already.

They went down 3-2 to Bacchas B, for whom Sean Ledwich, James Harrison and Connor Duggua were on target.

Gareth Morris and Chris Killey replied.

In the PWC Wonen’s Premier League, reigning champions Vikings A made it two wins out of two.

A goal in each half from Mia Greenwood and Zoe Crowe sealed a 2-0 success over battling Bacchas A.

Amy Speed was the match-winner as Valkyrs A surprised Ramsey A.

Castletown A and Harlequins A shared four goals.

Sophie van Hoover and Nicci Cain found the net for Town with Chloe Quilliam and Ali Hird were the goal-getters for Quins.
