Champions book semi berth

Corinthians sealed a place in the MBL Floodlit Cup semi-finals on Sunday with a resounding 7-1 success over Gymns.

Doubles from Stephanie Hall, Megan Loughran, Shannon Groves and one from Kiera Morgan secured the league champions a place in the last four.

Eleanor Gawne scored the consolation for the Tromode side.

In the other group B match, Rushen gained their first point since reforming after drawing 1-1 with Peel.

The southerners led at the break through Ali Gill before Peel equalised five minutes from time from a Katie Meads free-kick.
