Manx Missile cites lack of training
Mark Cavendish has pulled out of next week's Six Day London event.
The 33-year-old Team Dimension Data rider made the announcement on social media on Wednesday (17 October) afternoon.
Race types at the event include the madison, keirin and elimination race.
Taking to Twitter, Cav broke the news, citing a lack of training since recovering from illness:
Disappointed to say, after just 4 days training since recovering from my illness, I won’t be riding @sixdaycycling London. Gutted. I’ll be there supporting though. Always a great party. pic.twitter.com/QwyEIJKTmK
