Manx Missile makes season debut
Mark Cavendish missed out on being involved in the sprint at the end of the opening stage of the Dubai Tour.
Making his first competitive outing of the season, the Manx Missile had to settle for 17th position.
He was 10 seconds behind the winner Dutch rider Dylan Groenewegen.
Fellow Manx rider Mark Christian was 3 minutes, 39 seconds adrift in 91st place.
