Following a hectic early season, which has already seen the 23 year-old from Laxey rack up eight wins, including a stunning debut victory at the Milan-San Remo classic in Italy, he will now take a well-earned rest.
Next up for Cav is the Giro d'Italia, the scene of two stage victories for him last year, which begins on May 9.
