He joins Eddie Merckx on 34 stage wins
Mark Cavendish has won his fourth stage in this years Tour de France, equalling the best ever performance by Eddie Merckx.
Both have now won 34 stages.
Cav, lead out by his Deceuninck Quickstep team, looked relaxed as he crossed the line.
He has two further opportunities in the tour to break the record.
The final one being the showpiece sprint along the Champs-Elysees in Paris.
