Manxman Mark Cavendish was disqualified from Saturday’s 14th stage of the Tour de France.
His rival in the points competition, Thor Hushovd lodged an official complaint, accusing Cavendish of trying to barge him into the barriers.
With Hushovd earning 13 points, it means Cavendish has fallen further behind in the race for the green jersey.
He has 200 to Hushovd’s 218.
Sunday’s stage 15 is 207.5 km from Pontarlier to Verbier.
