Cavendish claims first GC win

Mark Cavendish has claimed his first general classification win.

The Manx Missile raced to the Ster ZLM Toer title as he continues his build-up to the Tour de France and the Olympics.

The Team Sky rider held the yellow jersey, with an eight second advantage over Lars Boom, heading into the final stage.

And he maintained that lead as he finished in the front group after a sprint finish on a pan-flat 163 kilometre course.
