Cav to ride Tour of Britain

Race runs for a week in September

Mark Cavendish will ride in the Tour of Britain next month, it's been confirmed.

The Manxman will be part of the Team Dimension Data lineup for the race, which runs between September 4 and 11, starting in Glasgow and finishing in London.

Cav has ten stage wins at the Tour of Britain.

This year's running of it will come three weeks after he won silver in the Omnium at the Olympics earlier this week.
