Cycling star Mark Cavendish is on the shortlist again for one of the most prestigious prizes in sport.
For the second year running, the 'Manx Missile' is one of ten sportsmen and women in the running for the title BBC Sports Personality of the Year.
Cavendish enjoyed another great year in 2010, the highlights being his five stage wins in the Tour de France, and securing the green jersey, his first ever major sprinters' title, in the Tour of Spain.
Other nominees include world champion diver Tom Daley, heavyweight boxer David Haye, heptathlete star Jessica Ennis and world golf number one Lee Westwood.
The stars will be put to a live vote on the night of the show, Sunday, December 19.
This year the event is at Birmingham’s LG Arena and the BBC says it will be the biggest in the show’s history.
