Cav just wins again in California

Mark Cavendish has done it again at the Tour of California but only just.

The Isle of Man cycling superstar took a photo finish victory over Peter Sagan on stage two to make it two wins over the opening two stages.

The Manx Missile now has an eight second lead in the overall classification but that is likely to change with stage three heading for the mountains.

Cav now has 11 wins this season and has equalled his haul for the whole of an injury-hit 2014 - it was the 130th of his professional career.

Fellow Manx rider Peter Kennaugh was 28th and sits 29th in the overall standings for Team Sky.
