Manx cyclist Mark Cavendish picked up a twenty second penalty which denied him a win on Stage Six of the Tour of California.
Cav won a dramatic bunch sprint for the line after recovering from a late crash.
However, he was deemed to have gained shelter from the slipstream of an official car and the penalty pushed him down to 74th place.
The seventh and final stage takes place later today.
