Cav defends title

Isle of Man cycling star Mark Cavendish is back in Belgium defending the first title he won as a professional cyclist.

12 months ago, Cav won the Scheldeprijs Vlannderen one day classic in Belgium to announce himself as one of the top sprinters in the sport.

The race usually favours the fast finishers and Mark goes into it fresh from winning his first Manx Road Race Championship on Sunday, and with two stage wins already achieved this season:-
