He will ride a Norton Rotary machine
Josh Brookes is to make his debut at the Classic TT.
He will ride for the Wiz Norton Racing team on a 588cc Norton Rotary in the Superbike Classic race with Richard Wilson as team-mate.
The aim is to try and beat the fastest ever lap of the Mountain Course by a rotary machine which was set during the famous 1992 Senior TT.
It was set by Steve Hislop in his dramatic win over Carl Fogarty and is 123.50mph.
