British Rally Inquiry Launched

Just as you thought a controversial British Rally Championship had been completed, the saga has taken another twist.

An inquiry has been launched by the Motor Sports Association into Mitsubishi, specifically scrutineering results at both the Yorkshire Rally and Wales Rally G.B..

Mitsubishi driver Guy Wilks will therefore not be declared Champion until the matter has been heard at the National Court.

The statement makes it clear the drivers and team championship tables remain provisional.
