Stage 3 billed as 'last chance' for sprinters

Manxman Sam Brand was among the points in the third stage of the Abu Dhabi Tour.

The Team Novo Nordisk rider finished 12th after the 133km stage.

It was billed as the last chance for sprinters and Brand duly delivered, racking up three points.

Team Sunweb's Phil Bauhaus was the eventual winner of Stage 3, needing a photo finish to prove he crossed the line before Marcel Kittel.
