Manxman claims points victory in Gibraltar
Isle of Man pro boxer Mathew Rennie has bounced back with a points win in his first fight of 2025.
The Manxman did so with a unanimous points victory over Romanian competitor Octavian Gratii at Europa Point Arena in Gibraltar.
It takes 'Magic' Rennie's pro record in the sport to 15 wins, one draw with just the one defeat to date.
It's a positive return to the ring for Rennie who suffered his first professional boxing loss in his previous bout.
That involved a points decision loss against Sean Noakes in an English Welterweight Title fight at Wembley Arena, London on 7 December, 2024.
