Island fighter takes first victory of 2025 in Australia
Island boxer Sam Rennie has taken his third professional win with a stoppage victory in Australia.
Competing yesterday (14 March) in the Thunderdome 49 event, Rennie defeated Dedy Imprax via TKO in a super featherweight contest at Metro City in Northbridge.
It's the first knockout win of his professional career.
It keeps the former New Horizon Boxing Club fighter undefeated in the pro ranks with three victories and no defeats.
This week's bout was his first contest of 2025 having made his pro debut in Australia last year.
His previous two wins were in 2024 - the first of those saw him overcome Jitti Thobwan in Sydney in March before defeating Indonesian competitor Dedi Elite in Perth on 29 November.
