'Magic' planning return next month
Manx professional boxer, Mathew Rennie has confirmed a date for his first fight of 2026.
The Island-born fighter's confirmed he'll return to the ring on Saturday, 28 February at BOXPARK Liverpool with his opponent yet to be announced.
During 2025, 'Magic' took two further victories to take his professional record to 16 wins, one draw and one defeat.
He had also been due to compete in October last year, but he withdrew from the contest due to illness.
During the previous calendar year, Rennie started 2025 with a points win over Octavian Gratii in Gibraltar in March before five months later taking victory against Harley Hodgetts in Liverpool, also via a points decision.
