Manx fighter beats Irish international on split decision
Manx boxer Jamie Devine has taken victory in his first bout of the 2022 Algarve Box Cup in Portugal.
Competing in the quarter-finals of the Men's 60kg class, Devine faced tough opposition in Irish international Adam Kiely.
After an intense three-round contest, Devine was declared winner by split decision.
Elsewhere, fellow Island fighter, Jade Burden, will be in action in the women's 60kg semi-finals tomorrow (3 December).
She'll face the favourite in the class, Italian competitor Alessia Messiano.
