Boxing: Jade Burden to face world championship medallist in Portugal

Jamie Devine to take on Irish international later today (2 December)

Manx boxers, Jade Burden and Jamie Devine, have now found out who they'll face at an international boxing competition in Portugal.

Both are taking part in the Algarve Box Cup which runs from today until Sunday (2-4 December).

Jade Burden will take on the favourite in her women's section semi-final - Italian fighter, Alessia Messiano.

Messiano was a world championship bronze medallist this year - that bout will take place tomorrow (3 December).

Meanwhile, Jamie comes up against Irish international Adam Kiely in the men's quarter finals later today (2 December).
