Boxing: Jade Burden confirms first fight date of 2025

'The Grenade' back in action in Liverpool next month

Manx professional boxer Jade Burden has confirmed a date for her first fight in 2025.

The undefeated Island fighter's announced she'll return to the ring at Grand Central Hall in Liverpool on Sunday, 27 April.

Her opponent is yet to be confirmed.

The contest will take place exactly a year on from 'The Grenade's' pro debut in the sport at the same venue.

Having been granted her professional boxing licence in early 2024, she went on to win her first bout with a points win over Sheree Barnes at Grand Central hall on 27 April, 2024.

Burden then had to wait nearly eight months for her second fight where she went on to beat Kerry Orton - also on points - in Birmingham on 15 December last year.
