The 'Cav effect' is continuing to generate interest in the Isle of Man's cycling scene.
A few weeks ago young Manx cyclists training at the Braaid featured in the Times newspaper.
Now, a journalist from a Belgian sports magazine is on Manx soil researching an in-depth article on the Island's part in Mark Cavendish's rise to stardom, and how the Isle of Man manages to produce so many world class cyclists.
At a training session last night (Thursday), Jonas Creteur said people on the Island may not realise how famous Cav is in counties such as Belgium (listen to audio file below):
