Baxter wins battle of Sky Hill

Lyness takes honours in womens race

Favourite Elliot Baxter won the first event of the day at Cyclefest.

He came home first in the visitiom.co.uk Battle of Sky Hill mountain bike race in a time of 46 minutes 19 seconds.

Simon Skillicorn was second and Paul Buchanan third.

Elliot told Tim Glover it had been a world class event.

Julie Lyness won the Ladies race, Lizzie Holden was second and Emma Atkinson third.
