Battling Bacchas downed by Didsbury

Visitors progress to Trophy semi-finals

Bacchas run in the England Hockey Trophy is over.

They lost 2-1 at the National Sports Centre in the quarter-final against Didsbury Northern.

They took an early lead through Jonny Callow but were a goal down at the interval.

Bacchas battled away in the second half and created good chances but couldn't get level.

Captain Jamie Brown was disappointed at the end but very proud of his players:-
