Manx side secure three straight wins in final round of county fixtures
Three straight wins last weekend (25-26 March) for the Isle of Man's badminton squad has seen them secure second place in their division in UK competition.
The Isle of Man 1 squad travelled to Darlington to take part in their final county matches of the season in Division 2 North.
In their opening contest, the Manx side took a commanding 9-2 victory over Durham before a more tightly-contested affair against Yorkshire with the Isle of Man eventually emerging victorious 9-4.
They then rounded off the latest fixtures with another win, this time with a comprehensive 11-0 victory over Lothian 2 confirm themselves as league runners-up.
Elsewhere, Isle of Man 2's final round of their campaign in Division 4 Central is expected to take place on Saturday, 6 May, with the Island outfit also occupying second place in that competition currently.
They're set to face Norfolk 2 and Northamptonshire 2 in their final games.
